Okay, I admit it: I’m getting old. Or maybe it’s just that I have a poor memory. Or maybe (being kind to myself) my mind is on higher, more interesting things. Whatever is the cause, the fact is that I cannot remember what I did last Friday (two days ago) and it’s getting to me. I know I didn’t stay at home and work, but what did I actually do?
So I searched for a way of using my Android phone to record where I go when I go out, just for my own peace of mind. Eventually it came down to an app I already have installed: a time management system called Toggl. The beauty of it is that you can also use a web browser the view reports and it’s FREE!
I used it for about a year and recorded 714 hours from April – November 2014 and then more-or-less stopped using it. Now I’m planning to start recording when and where I go out for walks, shopping etc.
A trivial thing, and probably something I will soon tire of, but it’s reassuring to know I have the ability to do it.
